Polling District Review under way in Neath Port Talbot

Neath Port Talbot Council is currently undertaking a review of all its Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations within the County Borough area.

As part of the consultation process, Chief Executive and Returning Officer Mrs. Karen Jones is keen to encourage individual electors as well as community groups and organisations to submit their views on the current polling arrangements.

Mrs. Jones said: “To assist us in ensuring that all our polling districts, polling places and polling stations are as accessible as possible I am keen to encourage as many individuals and community groups as possible to make their views heard during this consultation period. This will allow us to ensure that our polling arrangements are as convenient as possible for any future elections or referendums.”

When making representations individuals and community groups are advised to provide as much relevant information as they can about their current polling station, including issues such as location, parking and disability access and whether they are aware of any other suitable premises that could be used for polling duties.

Consultation submissions must be received by Thursday, 2 November 2023 and further information can be found here
