GREGGS has opened its new and improved shop today in Mountain Ash, creating four new jobs for the area. Previously located at 23B Oxford Street, the shop has relocated to a larger unit at 22B Oxford Street.
The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including the on-the-go-retailer’s popular Sausage Roll, Steak Bake and delicious vegan alternatives.
Greggs has also announced its Spring menu shake-up, which include two new pasta pots – the Piri Piri Chicken Pasta and Pesto & Mozzarella Pasta.
Elsewhere returning to the menu with new and improved recipes are the Sweet Potato Bhaji & Rice, Smoky Cajun Rice with BBQ Chicken & Sweetcorn Fritters, Feta & Tomato Pasta and Chicken & Bacon Pasta. All items are part of Greggs’ Balanced Choice range, meaning they’re 400 calories or less – a great choice to satisfy lunchtime cravings!
Delicious, freshly-made bakes and sweet treats will also be available for those looking to grab a bite on-the-go and customers will also be able to make Click + Collect orders via the Greggs App.
Shop Manager Louise Devenport said, “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”
Customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its famed breakfast combinations, offering a breakfast roll or baguette alongside an orange juice or hot drink – served until 11am every day.
Greggs’ velvety smooth Flat White and warming Peppermint Tea are among the hot drinks on offer at the new shop, all of which are 100% Fairtrade.
The Mountain Ash shop opens with a fresh new look and comfortable indoor seating. The shop’s opening hours are:
Monday – Saturday: 6am – 6pm
Sunday: 7am – 6pm
