Welsh based national events business bounces back since Lockdown

Vale of Glamorgan based Entrepreneur; Ryan Powell created hundreds of Events across the UK until Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdowns saw multiple obstacles, enforced cancellations out of the Owners control and distancing restrictions brought his booming Events Company to an early close.

Now, he returns to his roots with a New Outdoor Cinema and Festival for Blackwood, Gwent this Summer and continues with multiple Touring dates across Wales and the UK.

The newly Titled ‘Wonder Cinema’ has already been met with incredible feedback from the Local Community of Blackwood and Pre-Sales of Tickets for this New Event are already pushing forward.

For so many, particularly the Events Sector, the Covid-19 restrictions saw many businesses close or temporarily stop trading. And given the recent closure of so many Hospitality related businesses in Wales, it’s a welcome relief to the Local Community.

Speaking about the upcoming event at Pencoed Fach Farm, Powell commented that “events, including mine took a huge knock in 2020-2021 but we’re through that now and I’m incredibly excited to bring an Open Air Cinema back to Wales and even more excited to bring it to Blackwood and Ebbw Vale”.

Various Social Media comments flooded Pencoed Fach Farms Facebook page “this is really needed right now”, “I’m so looking forward to this”, “I can’t wait” and much more.

In Blackwood Town Centre, Résident Angela Davies commented that “the whole Valley needs more events and things to do, especially in the Summer with the Grandkids”, “as soon as we saw it online, we wanted to book”.

Founder of Wonder Cinema; Ryan Powell has already agreed another date in nearby Ebbw Vale with more dates announced for the Summer Months across Wales.
