DYFED-POWYS POLICE have confirmed today (Apr 19) that Katrina Evemy, the victim of a serious incident at her Graig Avenue home in Llanelli on Thursday (Apr 13), has died.
Senior Investigating Officer DCI Ifan Charles said: “On behalf of Dyfed-Powys Police I extend deepest sympathies to the family of Katrina Evemy. Our specialist officers are continuing to support the family at this extremely difficult time.
“The death of Katrina means we are now investigating a murder. The investigation is on-going and all lines of enquiry are being followed.”
Earlier this week, a 21-year-old man, Dylan Hywel Harries, was charged with attempted murder.
He appeared in Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Monday (Apr 17).
Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the Graig Avenue area between 5-7pm on April 13 to contact the Incident Room in Llanelli by calling 101.
