Fire crews tackle blaze in four-storey building on Station Road
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a commercial property on Station Road in Llanelli during the early hours of Tuesday (May 6).
Crews from Llanelli, Tumble, Morriston and Gorseinon stations responded to the incident at 12:13am. The fire involved the ground floor of a four-storey building measuring approximately 20 metres by 20 metres.
Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, one main jet, two hose reel jets, four thermal imaging cameras, small gear and e-draulic spreaders to gain entry and extinguish the fire.
All persons were accounted for, and no injuries were reported. Crews left the scene at 2:49am.
A fire investigation has concluded that the blaze was started accidentally.
