Pembrokeshire man accused of possessing over £12,000 of amphetamines with intent to supply

Haverfordwest Law Courts

A Haverfordwest man has appeared before town magistrates charged with possessing amphetamines with an estimated street value of £12,500 with intent to supply the illegal drug on to others.

Liam Arnold, 41, of Three Meadows, Haverfordwest faces two further allegations of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

This week Crown Prosecutor Sian Vaughan alleged that the drugs were found inside his property during a police search that was carried out on October 24, 2021.

“The amphetamines have a street value of approximately £12,500 while the other drugs were packaged up for onward sale, rather than for personal use,” she alleged.

Arnold denies all the three charges.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the matter was sent to Swansea Crown Court where the trial proceedings against Arnold will commence on March 31.
