SENEDD Member Paul Davies has recently visited the EH Group, a local company that provides high-quality care and support to peopleS across Pembrokeshire. Mr Davies met with Simon Clarke, Sally Clarke and Donna Beavis who explained that the EH Group originally started out as a care home 35 years ago and has now developed into an organisation with five successful businesses in Pembrokeshire. The organisation comprises of five businesses – Elliots Hill Care Home, Pembrokeshire Care, Ashdale Care, Catalyst Training, and Coastal Cleaning and employs almost 300 people across the county.
Mr Davies said, “The EH Group has been providing care across Pembrokeshire for many years and so it was really interesting to talk to the management and learn more about their businesses and the challenges the care sector is facing. I know that recruitment has been a concern and it’s vital that more is done to promote career opportunities in the social care sector.”
