Special match to mark Hook Cricket Club’s centenary year

THIS year, Hook Cricket Club will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a prestigious fixture against the PCA England Legends team.

One name that is already confirmed for the event is former England and Glamorgan star Simon Jones.

The event is being held on Friday, September 1 at Hook Recreation Field and games will be played in a tournament format with two semi-finals and a final.

Joining Simon for the day will be several other ex-Englad internationals. Each team will have 8 players and which will include two Legends on each team.

There will be a lunch beforehand and a Q&A session with the players. The games are set to get underway at 4pm.

The event will also raise money for the 2 Wish Charity.

An auction will also be held on the day with prizes to include; Dinner for 4 at Rick Stein restaurant and 4 day holiday to Marbella with private butler.
