Police have reported the unfortunate passing of an 86-year-old man as a result of a collision in Swansea.
The incident, which involved two cars, occurred at the junction of Mumbles Road and Swansea University Campus at approximately 8:50 pm on Monday, October 9.
South Wales Police confirmed that the 86-year-old driver sustained fatal injuries and tragically passed away shortly after the collision. They also mentioned that specially trained family liaison officers are providing support to his family during this difficult time.
Police are currently seeking witnesses to the tragic collision, as well as individuals who were in the vicinity and possess dash-cam recordings. They have encouraged these potential sources of information to reach out as part of their ongoing investigation into the incident.
Additionally, the police expressed their gratitude to the community for their understanding and cooperation during the incident.
