Private firm submits planning application to build 25 new properties in Pembroke Dock

PRIVATE firm, Evans Banks Planning, have put forward a planning application to convert the old Cleddau Bridge Hotel estate into a residential development.

The proposed plan includes 25 new houses located near the waterway.

The plans consist of four residential building types. Eight three-bed bungalows, eight  three-bed two-storey houses, four four-bed houses, and five four-bed three-storey houses.

Demolition of the Cleddau Bridge Hotel began in January 2020 after a fire destroyed the disused hotel in March 2019. It is believed that the fire was started deliberately.

Members of the public, statutory bodies, and other third-parties, have a minimum period of 28 days within which to make representations in respect of the proposed development.

Councillor Joshua Beynon, has asked residents in Pembroke Dock to share their thoughts on the proposed development by May 3 so he can respond. People can email him at [email protected] with their views.
