Words From The Edge

wordsfromedgeNARBERTH MUSEUM invited young writers from Cardiganshire, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire to share their thoughts on life in this beautiful but remote part of Wales.

The winners and runners up in the writing competition held earlier this year can now see their work published in an anthology called ‘Words from the Edge”. The competition and book have been sponsored by Valero. “Without Valero’s help we would not have been able to offer such generous prizes nor produced a book of this quality”, said curator, Pauline Griffiths.

“We are very grateful to them for kickstarting what may well become an annual event”. The book, which gives a fresh perspective in poetry and prose on the lives of young Welsh people, is available in the Museum bookshop or it can be bought online at www. narberthmuseum.co.uk. Pictured is Stephen Thornton, Public Affairs manager at Valero, Pauline Griffiths, Curator at narberth Museum and Elaine Cocciadiferro, a volunteer at the Museum who coordinated the publication.
