South Wales developer raises £500 for Macmillan

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning took place on Friday 29th September, and saw people all over the UK take part to help raise funds for the charity and support those affected by cancer.

On the day, Lovell hosted coffee mornings for staff at its head office in Cardiff, Chartist Garden Village in Pontllanfraith, Elderwood Parc in Portskewett, The Mill in Cardiff, Royal Victoria Court and Locke Gardens, both in Newport.

During the morning, employees from all areas of the business were able to take a well-deserved break with coffee and cake, in return for a small donation.

After hosting seven coffee mornings across South Wales and the West, Lovell has donated a total of £500 to Macmillan.

Gemma Clissett, regional partnerships director at Lovell, said: “We are delighted to have raised £500 for Macmillan at this year’s fundraiser, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Lovell who took part and donated.

“Macmillan is a fantastic charity that carries out vital work each day, and we hope that our contribution provides them with a helping hand. Hosting coffee mornings is a brilliant way to raise money and awareness of the work Macmillan does, and we are proud to have all come together for such an important cause.”
