A HAVERFORDWEST man accused of making more than 500 indecent images of children will stand trial at crown court.
Paul Godbold, 35, of Spring Grove, Haverfordwest, will stand trial for three offences of Making indecent images of children and one charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
At a hearing at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 20, the court heard how between December 9, 2016 and April 15, 2021, Godbold is accused of making indecent photographs/pseudo-photograph of a child – Namely 276 images of category A, 139 of category B and 128 of category C. A further charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image, namely an image of a person performing an act of intercourse with a dog was heard.
No plea was indicated for any of the charges. Magistrates declined jurisdiction on the case and sent it to crown court. A plea and trial preparation hearing has been set for October 19. The defendant was released on conditional bail.
