FARMERS in Wales are being reminded that the Expression of Interest (EOI) window for Glastir Advanced 2019, will close at midnight on Friday (Oct 20).
Glastir Advanced is the flagship component of Glastir, through which the Welsh Government offers financial support to farmers and landowners to improve the environmental management of their land.
FUW Policy Officer Charlotte Priddy said: “Those farmers who are interested in Glastir Advanced need to make sure that their EOI is submitted by Friday 20 October, via their RPW online account.”
Mrs Priddy however also highlighted that farmers need to understand what they are signing up to.
“It is important that farmers fully understand the obligations within their Glastir contracts as even a minor breach can result in hefty penalties and repayments. It’s advisable to regularly review the contract to ensure that all the requirements are met,” she added.
