AT a recent point-to-point meeting in Lower Machen, Newport, Pembrokeshire jockey Matthew Barber rode his horse ‘Where Now’ to victory.
The 8-year old Irish-bred horse has only been in the ownership of Gary and Marc Barber (Matthew’s father and brother), Ben Llewellyn and Joe Zuk since the middle of March.
The horse is trained at home by Gary and the win for Matthew on May 11 was his 60th winner between point-to-point and under rules.
Where Now will be in action at Trecoed on Saturday, June 1, in the final meeting in Wales.
A number of Championship titles will be on the line with the first race getting underway at 2pm.
