Clean sweep for Tenby ladies

LAST Thursday a very successful open day was held at Tenby Golf Club. Over eighteen clubs and 109 ladies took part.
In third place with 84 were last year’s winners Heather, Denise and Isobel. Runners up with 85 were Irene Gilman, Bev Owen and Annette Flower; whilst the winners were Sue Griffiths, Gillian Roberts and Rebecca Naden with 87. Rebecca thanked everyone for putting on the event, her playing partners for their coaching, and Tenby Ladies’ section for keeping her at golf for the last twenty-five years.
There were eight twos by Denise Edwards x2; Liz Storey and Sue Griffiths (Tenby), Barbara Phillips and Liz Durward (Milford Haven), Judith Stevens (Derllys Court) and Roz Jenkins (Pontypridd).
