Pembrokeshire Schools FA Under 10s impress at Ysgol Caer Elen

PEMBROKESHIRE Schools FA Under 10s football team impressed at a sunny Ysgol Caer Elen last Wednesday afternoon (April 13) against Cardiff & Vale Schools Under 10s.

In front of a decent crowd, the boys played four small sided games with an overall 7-4 victory for the Pembrokeshire youngsters.

Leading the way with the goals were Owain Banner of Ysgol Casmael scoring a hat-trick and two goals each for Logan Lewis of Pembroke Dock Community School and Zach Loveridge of Waldo Williams CP School.

Not only did the boys impress on the pitch, they also impressed off the pitch by raising over £1000 at a Bingo Event to help towards the cost of playing in a Football Tournament at Norwich City Football Club in May.

Coach Matthew Price added: “Exciting times are ahead for these young footballers and I am sure that everybody in Pembrokeshire will be wishing them all the best and good luck in Norwich.”
