Trouble: Milford have slipped into a relegation battle with the Robins

PENNAR ROBINS boosted their hopes of climbing out of the bottom two as they thumped Milford United 5-2 at Bush Camp on Saturday (Jan 21).

Carl Rees was the hero for Pennar as he scored three goals to set his side on their way to victory.

Phil Thompson and Connor Rees also scored for the Robins, who picked up just their second win of the season.

They are now just three points behind Milford and have played five games less than their relegation rivals.

Milford’s Levi Jones and Josh Smart scored their goals but they proved to just be a consolation for the visitors.

On Saturday (Jan 28), Milford are at home to bottom side Johnston while Pennar are away to Angle.
