A 19-YEAR-OLD man has died following a one-vehicle crash at Llancynfelyn near Machynlleth this morning (Mar 25).
Next of kin have been informed and Dyfed-Powys Police are now appealing for witnesses who have may information which can aid their investigation.
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a one vehicle road traffic collision at Llancynfelyn near Machynlleth early this morning.
“No other vehicles were involved and there were no passengers in the silver Ford Fiesta. Sadly, a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Family have been informed and are being supported by a specialist officer. The driver was last seen in the Spar store, Aberystwyth, at 3.15am.
“The incident is believed to have happened shortly after that. Anyone who saw the collision happen or anything before or after it happened is urged to call the Roads Policing Unit in Cardigan on 101.”
