WELSH ASSEMBLY members involved in gypsy and traveller issues came to Pembrokeshire earlier this month. For the first time ever an Assembly Cross Party Group on Gypsies and Travellers was held beyond the confines of the Senedd at Cardiff Bay. Members of the group instead held their meeting at Monkton Priory Community School in Pembroke. The school has a dedicated education unit for gypsy and traveller youngsters in the county.
