Another yellow weather warning issues for tomorrow

A YELLOW WEATHER WARNING has been issued for Carmarthenshire tomorrow (Dec 18) as heavy rain and strong winds are set to batter the county.

The warning is in place from 5am until 9pm.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and take extra care on the roads.

Flooding is possible, with a strong chance of branches and trees falling and blocking roads.

A Met Office spokesperson said: “Another spell of wet and windy weather is expected on Tuesday when rain will be heavy at times and, given recent wet weather, likely lead to impacts in a few places.

“Over most of Wales, Devon and Cornwall the worst of the weather will have cleared by mid-afternoon whilst further east the worst conditions are likely to be during the afternoon and early evening.

“Inland, gusts will be lower and mainly peak at 40-50 mph.”
