TIM PEAKE has sent a message to the people of Wales from space.
The astronaut wished Welsh people ‘iechyd da’ and said that Wales was an ‘important part’ of the British space community.
Wales ‘provided most of the glass’ for the solar panels on the space station, Major Peake added.
Maj Peake also posted a picture of Wales, which he took a few days ago, on his Facebook page.
