THE BODY of a man has been found in a ford in Llanwrda yesterday morning (Mar 19) in an incident which police are not treating as suspicious.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 8am this morning, police were called to a ford in the Farmers, Llanwrda area. A white van was in the ford and tragically the body of a man in his fifties was discovered at the location. Specialist assets from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to carry out recovery.
“Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating, and the next of kin have been informed, they are being supported by specialist officers.
“Police are not treating this tragic incident as suspicious and are not appealing for witnesses.”
