A LLANELLI bowls club has made an appeal for cash to Llanelli Town Council to assist with the cost of covering the expenses of season tickets to play on the bowling green at Parc Howard.
Treasurer of the Brynhyfryd Bowls Club Mr J M Watts made the appeal in a letter to the Town Council on March 9.
In the letter Mr Watts states that the reason for the appeal was because the majority of the Brynhyfryd Bowls Club are unwaged and face an increase in costs of a season ticket from £89 to £122 per member.
The secretary of the Parc y Dre Bowls Club, Neil Rees has also made a similar plea for cash for the same reasons.
