Carmarthen: Cabbie was punched when pet not allowed in taxi

DYFED-POWYS POLICE is appealing for witnesses or information following an assault in Carmarthen last November.
A male taxi driver was assaulted by a man who had booked the taxi from The Dairies Sports and Social Club on Water Street, a spokesman said.
The Carmarthenshire Herald was told by officers: “The suspect had a golden coloured medium sized dog, and punched the victim to the face and chest when he was not allowed to take the dog in the taxi.
The incident took place at 5.30pm on November 3.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 646 Tweedie by calling 101.”
