GREY SKIES failed to dampen the spirits of the Carmarthen residents who enjoyed a day of fun at the annual carnival.
Featuring floats, music from the Carmarthen Symphonic Wind Band and the Swansea Pipe band, as well as an array of cars, vintage tractors and walking entries, the carnival saw hundreds of people line route along Lammas Street and Guildhall Square.
The Dairies Club float took first place, while best junior entry went to the Mini Players for their Hairspray-themed float.
