SINCE 1989, David Evans of Glanaman, has delivered the mail rain or shine on his round in the communities he has tirelessly served.
However, after 26 years of bringing post to the Amman Valley, David will not be letting the grass grown under his feet in retirement.
David has plans to compete in the 2015 Velothon Wales in June and to continue to continue his work for charity. He has previously been active in raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care by wearing his trademark shorts to work every day for two years.
Speaking of the Velothon, David said: “I can’t wait for this event. I love getting out of the house and on to my bike. I’m hoping to raise some money for charity at the same time.”
