Family appeal to pop star for daughter’s funeral

THE FAMILY of Megan Evans, the 14-year-old schoolgirl who suddenly died on Tuesday (Feb 7), has taken to social media in hopes of making one of her dreams come true.

Megan was a huge fan of pop star Justin Bieber and now her family are trying to get a signed piece of memorabilia in her casket.

Posting on Facebook, Megan’s mother said: “To all our wonderful friends home and around the world, as you may know, our beautiful, kind and caring daughter tragically took her own life earlier this week.

“This is utterly devastating to us and all of her friends and anyone who knew her.

“Nothing we can do will ever bring her back, but now more than ever we need to fulfil wishes we knew she had. As all her friends will know she idolised Justin Bieber and had VIP tickets to see him in June.

“Sadly now this will never happen but we desperately would like a piece of memorabilia signed by Justin to Megan Evans to put in her casket with her.

“I’ve tried contacting via the fan page and Facebook page, but if anyone knows of any possible way to make this happen then please please please let us know. We don’t have long – even though we haven’t secured a date for her funeral yet, it’s going to be quite soon.

“Please help Megan fulfil her dream.”

If you can help, please contact Megan’s mother, Nicola Harteveld, on Facebook.
