THERE was a large police presence in Fishguard on Saturday night, (Nov 14) as armed officers responded to a domestic incident where they feared that person or persons could be in danger.
The incident took place at around 9.30pm
A section of the main road, the A487, between The Globe and The Electrical Shop was closed whilst police dealt with the incident.
One witness told The Herald that they saw police with helmets and riot shields securing an area behind properties.
There were a large number of police vehicles in the area.
The precise details of the incident have not yet been released by police, who have been contacted for a statement.
