A SEARCH and rescue operation was mounted to the north of Jack Sound, near Skomer Island this evening (Saturday, Nov 14) following a 999 call to the Coastguard Operations Centre in Milford Haven reporting two divers missing.
A number of lifeboats were launched, including the all weather lifeboats based in Angle and St Davids, supported by inshore lifeboats from Broad Haven and Little Haven.
A coastguard search and rescue helicopter was involved in the operation.
There are reports that a male and female diver have been recovered, and brought to safety.
