THE MAN arrested for allegedly attacking a woman in North Street, Haverfordwest, on Thursday (Jan 3) has been named by police as 34-year-old Darren Connolly.
Connolly has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm following the incident, as well as criminal damage after he spread faeces over his cell walls.
Earlier today (Jan 5) he was remanded to Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the criminal damage charge. He received a nine week sentence.
He did not enter any plea for the charge of GBH.
He will now appear in Swansea Crown Court on February 4.
A woman remains in hospital with ‘life-changing’ injuries following the alleged attack on Thursday evening.
Police shut the street and forensic officers were at the scene the following day.
