2019 is off to a winning start for some lucky Pembrokeshire residents who scooped at least £1,000 each in lottery cash with the People’s Postcode Lottery
On Wednesday (Jan 2) it was Neyland which was drawn, when the postcode SA73 1TS netted four neighbours in Riverside Avenue an unexpected late Christmas present.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt offered her congratulations to the winners and said: “What a winning week for Wales. It’s incredible to see people have landed a lovely windfall which will definitely help with any January blues! I hope they treat themselves to something special with the win.”
With a minimum of 32% from every ticket going to charity, players of People’s Postcode Lottery have now raised £382 million for over 5,500 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
Many local charities have benefited from players support, and the next opportunity to apply for funding will be in February 2019.
