A CARER has pleaded not guilty to fraud by abuse of position.
Forty-nine-year-old Anita Sherwin-Jones from Heol Derwen, Haverfordwest, pleaded not guilty to the charge when she appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday Aug 18.
The court heard how Sherwin-Jones is alleged to have abused her position as a carer to gain £12,430 between July 1 2018 and February 9 2019.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction and sent the case to Crown Court for trial.
Sherwin-Jones was released on unconditional bail to appear at Swansea Crown Court on September 18.
