MID AND WEST WALES FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE have successfully extinguished a fire which broke out in a flat in Goshawk Road, Haverfordwest on Tuesday lunch time (May 28).
An aerial rescue pump and support tender were sent to the fire, which also caused damage to the second floor flat above, according to witnesses.

Lee Morgan, Adam Morgan and Michael Whitlock have been praised by locals for evacuating the block of flats after smelling burning in the street.
A resident said: “Thanks to them everyone was out of the way before the flames took hold – thanks to their actions, there were no injuries.”
A fire brigade spokesperson said: “Crews from Haverfordwest and Milford Haven were called today (Tuesday, 28th May 2019) at 12:54pm to a property fire in Goshawk Road, Haverfordwest.
“The fire was located in a first floor flat, within a three-storey building, and had spread to a second flat on the second floor of the building.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera, a covering jet, small tools and a short extension ladder.
“All persons were evacuated from the building on arrival of the Fire Service.
“The Police and Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
“The Fire Service received the stop messages at 04:01pm.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
