THERE was intense police activity in Haverfordwest on Sunday night (Jan 24).
Goat Street was blocked off at around 7.15pm.
Police, including armed officers were seen entering a building containing flats. Loud bangs, and shouting was heard coming from the area and witnesses said they saw people being arrested.
Tom Hurston said on Facebook: “Not sure [what’s happening] but I heard some loud bangs outside and some armed police were breaking into the house up the road couple people got arrested”
The area has now re-opened.

Last week emergency services responded to a fire on the same road, which started in the attic of a property. No one was injured in the blaze.
The Herald has asked the police for a comment.
