Man arrested for Police Scotland after horse hits car

A MAN with two outstanding warrants was arrested on behalf of Police Scotland last night (Nov 14) after Dyfed-Powys Police attended an incident in which an escape horse hit a car.

The horse, which had escaped in Pinged and made it’s way on to a road, collided with a car and police were called.

The horse was not injured, but the man in the car was found to have two outstanding warrants and was arrested on behalf of Police Scotland.

A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys-Police said: “A roads policing officer responded to a call about an escaped horse being involved in a road traffic collision in Pinged last night.

“The incident occurred on the B4317 on the junction with the B4308 at approximately 9pm on Tuesday, November 14.

“The horse collided with a Toyota Yaris.

“The horse was examined at the scene and was not injured.

“The male driver of the vehicle had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was arrested on behalf of Police Scotland.”

He remains in police custody.
