Llanboidy: Cannabis plants and equipment seized in drugs raid

AFTER carrying out a morning raid in Carmarthenshire, police seized a number of cannabis plants and growing equipment.

The raid took place on Thursday, May 30th, in the village of Llanboidy, 15 miles west of Carmarthen.

One large cannabis plant, two smaller cannabis plants, just under 2 grams of herbal cannabis and drug growing equipment and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Two people – a man and a woman – are due to be voluntarily interviewed in connection with the find, police have confirmed, though no arrest have been made.

The police have issued a statement asking for anyone who had any information to come forward.
