A LLANDOVERY man has appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (Jan 2) charged with being caught in possession of hundreds of child abuse images.
Aled Llywelyn Davies, 34, now of Brynhyfrd Road, Newport, Gwent, is accused of having 272 Category A images, 337 Category B images, and 748 Category C images of a child contrary to the Protection of Children Act 1978.
Due to the serious nature of the offences, the case was sent to Swansea Crown Court where Davies will appear on January 3, 2020.
The defendant was given bail meanwhile.
