AN AMMANFORD man accused of attempting to have sex with an underage boy will have his case heard in Swansea Crown Court.
Appearing before magistrates in Llanelli on Thursday (Mar 29), Nicky Mark Evans, 27, of Clos Y Coleg, entered no plea to charges of attempting to incite a boy aged under 16 to engage in penetrative sexual activity and attempting to meet a boy aged under 16 after ‘grooming’ him.
The offences were alleged to have taken place in Carmarthenshire last July.
Both offences were indictable only, meaning that they could only be heard at Crown Court. Mr Evans, who was represented by David Elvy, was released on bail.
He will next appear at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on April 30.
