POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted near Guildhall Square in Carmarthen.
Sometime between 5am and 5:30am on December 27, a man was assaulted in the alleyway between Nora Jewellers and B&M by two males.
A police spokesperson said: “Sometime between the hours of 05:00hrs and 05:30hrs Wednesday 27th December 2017, a male was walking alone along the alleyway between Nora Jewellers and B&M just off Guildhall Square, Carmarthen when he was assaulted by 2 unknown males.
“As yet, no suspect has been identified.”
Police ask that anyone with information about the assault contacts them directly.
