A MAN is in a critical condition following a serious collision near Llandinam this afternoon.
The A470 at Llanidloes remains closed both ways this evening as investigations continue.
Two vehicles – an HGV lorry and a panel van – were involved in the collision, which was reported at 1.50pm.
Fire service and paramedics also attended, and a man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital.
