A MAN was taken to hospital this morning (Jan 22) after a road traffic collision on the A4066 road that runs between St Clears and Laugharne.
Dyfed Powys Police received a phone call reporting the accident just after 8am and updates were posted on Twitter stating that the road was closed. It was recommended that drivers find an alternate route until the accident was cleared. The road was reopened 2 hours later just before 10am.
The man involved in the accident was taken to Glangwili General Hospital via ambulance, and according to a Welsh Ambulance spokesperson, his injuries are “believed to be non-life threatening.”
Police advise drivers to take extra care in adverse and unpredictable weather conditions.
