DYFED-POWYS POLICE has charged a 70-year-old man in connection with the death of a 69-year-old woman from Hermon.
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police can confirm that Geoffrey Bran, aged 70, has been charged with the murder of Mavis Bran, aged 69.”
He is due to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court this morning.
On October 23, 69-year-old Mavis Bran died after an incident at a chip shop in Hermon.
The Welsh Air Ambulance transported Mrs Bran to Morriston Hopsital in Swansea where she sadly died on October 29.
The arrested man was originally arrested on suspicion of assault on October 23 and released on police bail.
