MILFORD FISH FESTIVAL, which was organised and run by the Port of Milford Haven for the first time in 2015, is to return again this year, kicking off a week-long timetable of events scheduled for Pembrokeshire County Council’s Pembrokeshire Fish Week.

2015 was a successful year for Milford Haven, with crowd-pulling events raising the profile of the town and establishing it as ‘the events capital of Pembrokeshire’.

The Port of Milford Haven confirmed on Friday (Jan 29) that the festival will return in 2016, this time for two days, on Saturday June 25, and Sunday June 26, marking the start of Pembrokeshire Fish Week.

Alec Don, Chief Executive at the Port, said: “I am delighted that Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) has announced that it is bringing back Pembrokeshire Fish Week and [I am] excited that we are staging the Milford Fish Festival once again in what will be Milford Marina’s 25th Anniversary year.

“With support from Pembrokeshire County Council we are also able to extend the festival to a two day event, making it bigger and better than ever.

“As last year, we will be looking to the business community to support us through sponsorship and to stall holders and entertainers for their attendance on the day to make this year’s event one to remember.”

Further details of how you can get involved and full event information will be released in the near future.
