DYFED-POWYS POLICE is appealing for information after a man was assaulted in John Street car park.
The assault took place on New Year’s Day.
An unknown man, who had a ‘foreign’ accent, which was possibly Bulgarian or Romanian, is now being hunted by police.
The police force have made an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
In the early hours of New Year’s Day, a man and a woman were walking through the car park when the man was assaulted.
The man ran off towards Woods Row Court.
He was described as being roughly 5’10”, with a slim build, short dark hair and wearing a shirt.
Carmarthen police said on Twitter: ”Assault at John Street Car Park between 3-4am on 1/1/18 by an unknown male with a “foreign” accent possibly Bulgarian or Romanian.
“The suspect is described as 5ft10, Slim, Short Dark Hair, Wearing a shirt. Ran off towards Woods Row.”
