Pontyberem church suffers from fly-tipping

shutterstock_292278371MOURNERS at Pontyberem church have complained about fly-tipping which they passed as they arrived for a funeral.

This is not the first time visitors to the church had to suffer from fly-tipping, as the Capel Ifan Church has been targeted several times before previously.

Bryan Thomas, who is warden of the sister church, St Johns, has urged for those responsible for the mess to have more respect for the church grounds.

The rubbish pile contained bins, pictures, pots, plastic bags and more and the remote location of the church has made it hard for locals to track down those responsible.

The local community have spoken to the police and council who are aware of the issue.
