THE MAIN Road into Pembrokeshire is currently causing delays following a road traffic collision.
The A40 is currently closed in both directions this morning, slow traffic is expected from the A477 (St Clears roundabout) and the B4328 (Llanboidy roundabout).
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed their attendance on Twitter, saying: “Police are at scene of an RTC on the A40 westbound between St Clears and Whitland.
“Diversions are in place and delays are likely. Please consider an alternative route whilst we make the area safe.”
Narberth and Whitland Firefighters and Welsh Ambulance service are all in attendance.
Delays are expected to continue whilst emergency services deal with the incident on the U6218 towards the A40 between Whitland and St Clears.
A Traffic Wales report states: “The road has been closed to assist. Recovery will need completing and carriageway clean up will need to take place before the road can be reopened.”
