Vigil held in Carmarthen for Ukraine

ROUGHLY 200 people held a silent vigil on Nott Square, Carmarthen at dusk on Sunday, March 6 to contemplate or pray for peace.

The Revd Beti-Wyn James, who’d organised the vigil, said: “The fact that so many people attended, and at short notice, reflects the community’s desire to come together to support ourselves at this distressing time for all, as well as showing support for the people of Ukraine in their horrific suffering.”
