Woman caught speeding outside primary school

A WOMAN from Kidwelly appeared before magistrates at Llanelli Law Court on Monday (Dec 17) to face a charge of speeding.

Allison Julie Brailsford, aged 49 of Knockingstone, Mynyddygarreg, was proved guilty of the offence.

The court heard that Brailsford has been driving an Autosan on June 21 in Carmarthenshire past Saron Primary Scool, at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour.

Her speed, which was recorded by means of a laser, showed he was travelling at 28 miles per hour.

Magistrates fined Brailsford £220 and ordered her for pay a victim surcharge of £30 as well as £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
