THE POLICE have released an image of the remains of a vehicle involved in a road traffic collision on the B4300 near to Golden Grove, Llandeilo.
Police said: “Fortunately, the young female driver was ok but has sustained significant injuries. As the road conditions worsen and temperatures drop, please take your time and be safe!”
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called on Thursday, November 7, at approximately 4.18pm to reports of a road traffic accident involving one vehicle on the B4300 near Llandeilo.
“We responded with one emergency ambulance. One patient was transported to Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.”
Police said the young woman sustained “significant injuries” in the crash but they were not thought to be life-threatening.
The Fire Service said that the woman was released by rews who were called to the B4300 near the village of Llanarthney, between Carmarthen and Llandeilo, shortly before 4pm on Thursday (Nov 7).
